After attending Renaissance High School for Musical Theater & Technology, Cardi B began stripping at the age of 19, crediting it as a positive experience: "[Stripping] really saved me from a lot of things. When I started stripping I went back to school." She attended the Borough of Manhattan Community College before eventually dropping out.
